THE HOMELESS SAVED BY FOOD WASTE | FEATURE REPORT
February, 2019
An item wasted by many on a daily basis due to a best before date, when still fully usable, whilst thousands on the streets are constantly fighting to survive without it. Food companies are now beginning to realise what their unsold goods can do to help those in need and to help stop this large epidemic from spreading even more.
This feature report explores the issue of food waste, including how much food is wasted in the UK despite it still being in good condition. It also considers certain food chains that donate unsold products to homeless shelters and the policies both food businesses and shelters must abide by when donating food to the homeless. The report also shares the views of a homeless man who would rather eat expired food than having to endure surviving with an empty stomach.

POSTCARDS FROM SMOKE | EPISODE 2 - NICE, FRANCE | DOCUMENTARY
October, 2019
Postcards From Smoke is a documentary series created for multi-award-winning student radio station Smoke Radio. I had the chance to co-direct and film episode 2 of the series in which my colleague, Ryan Venables, and I travelled to Nice (France), and got to explore the city and report on the best tourist attractions.
